during the last day of our internal control testing, we were able to finish everything and do the closing meeting as early as 1pm giving us enough time to roam around the city and buy something to bring back home..

after some shopping, we went back to the guest house just in time for this very nice sunset.. tried a lot of attempts before i got what i wanted..

not perfect but good enough for me..

waiting and eager to go back home tomorrow after 5 days stay here in iligan…

This Palawan bamboo chime is made by the prisoners of the Iwahig Prison Colony.

Despite the common public impression of a convicted person, the Iwahig prison facility managed to make some “change” in this impression.

A lot of crafts and artworks can be seen and purchased from Iwahig. I wasn’t able to see and experience the place but looking into these bamboo chimes, it feels earthly simple yet beautiful and lovingly crafted… something which can only be made by people of the same nature.
